Author Eileen Sheehan brings romance and fantasy together in an unforgettable intergalactic tale. I just wanted to keep turning the pages. I enjoyed Sheehan's talent for character development in showing how people can bring certain qualities out in one another. The chemistry between Jessica and Jack is electric, making their love story leap off the pages with great dialogue and detail. This is also a refreshing twist on the vampire romance genre, which can so often be saturated these days with cliches. Sheehan blends exciting new sci-fi elements with timeless passion, offering new surprises. There's also plenty of rich world-building and high-stakes drama.
